Thesis layout

After years of hard work, in the end the layout of your thesis determines the look and feel of it and is therefore an important part of the whole process. It is up to you if you would like to do this yourself or if you would like to outsource this. Whether you do your own layout, or you want us to do it, at Ipskamp Printing you`re at the right address!

More information on the different options can be found here. In general it takes approximately 3 weeks to complete the layout of the inner pages & cover.

Layout inside

Inside basic

We can add one or a few elements to your thesis without layouting the complete text. We ask you to submit your final PDF file and we will add an extra layer with a one or more style-elements like:

• Chaptertabs/bookmarks
• Headers and/or footers
• Pagenumbers
• Chapterpages

We can send some examples or you can send us an example of your wish. Based on that, we can apply the style element(s) you prefer. The price for this option varies and is therefore upon request.

Inside by an experienced designer

Here you have complete freedom of choice, the design of the inside of your thesis will be done from scratch. We discuss your wishes and will make a layout completely geared towards them. This is surely the most complete option to have your thesis designed personally! The costs for this service is upon request.

Layout cover and bookmark

Cover basic

Your cover will be designed based upon the text and/or images delivered by you. Image-editing isn`t included. You can make an example in for instance powerpoint or explain us your wishes. We need to receive the images separately and they must be at least 300 DPI. If you have no image yourself we can obtain suitable images for you from www.shutterstock.com and www.istockphoto.com. The cost for a basic cover design is only €100,-. If needed, the purchase of an image is excluded.

Cover advanced

Cover-design from scratch! Together with the designer your wishes and ideas will be discussed in order to create the most beautiful, customized cover possible. All options are available, making a drawing, photo etc. Besides the layouting we also take care of the images and the whole creative process. The costs for this service is upon request.
